Smart Services for Vertical Markets

M2M Innovation World Congress invites all the M2M stakeholders to shift from a technology-driven to a business- and user-centric approach. Focused on emerging business models, technologies and best practices, this conference & exhibition gives its participants new inspirations to innovate and setup business while meeting prominent figures both from M2M industry and verticals. The conference will explore in particular M2M innovations in Smart Grids, Smart Cities, Retail and Consumer Electronics. Held in conjunction with the three other smart devices-related conferences and 50-booth exhibition forming World Smart Week, the Congress provides its 300 attendees rich opportunities to network, share knowledge and develop business with 1700 participants overall.

60+ speakers to design the 2014 M2M/IoT Landscape

For 2.5 days and along 17 thematic sessions, the 2014 Congress will cover this year's most challenging trends for M2M applications, technologies and  business models.
Both the M2M & IoT industry players and implementers from verticals will share expertise to further innovate in 2014 along multiple dimensions: How to move from M2M approach to more integrated IoT services? How to optimize data intelligence? How to overcome a fragmented market? How to leverage deployed assets? How to make LTE cost effective?...

Notes from a participant: "I signed up for this conference on the advice of my doctoral advisor, but was initially concerned that it might not be appropriate for someone with a Kubernetes and data science background. I was wrong. The speakers were fascinating because unlike my previous experience, they were all in industries, applying the knowledge that I was seeing only through the eyes of a student. Was really impressed with Dr. Richard's talk on Big Data, which is something I was really interested in and eager to learn how industry was applying this discipline. He took the podium wearing a Batman t shirt, commenting that like Batman saving the world from criminal elements, big data was saving the world from chaos. Loved that take on it. I chatted with him afterward and found him imminently approachable. Since I've been a Batman fan all my life we spent a good amount of time discussing the use of this superhero as a metaphorical symbol for big data. I was also super impressed with his shirt - was a graphic that I've never seen before - super crisp, brilliant colors and generally gorgeous. Dr. Richard gladly shared his source with me - an online store called MoonAtMidnight.com which specializes in Batman t shirts and other Batman gear. This is an impressive store. So I not only had an inspiring and educational eye-opening experience learning about the application of bid data concepts, but also found the best source of Batman t shirts! What a wonderful surprise for a skeptical newbie!" Bob Knight

There will also be some fun elements to the Beacon experience, with some special prizes available. Each exhibitor will also be provided with a full "Beacon experience" pack. More on this soon.

NFC Experience

Experience mobile proximity on-site thanks to the NFC badges provided by Nexperts. Your badge will become your business card: exchange contact details with peers, exhibitors, etc. directly onto your smartphone.
The NFC badge is also your credential to access the different areas of the Congress.

2014 Congress: a new wave of innovation for all Verticals. Thank you all!

The second edition of M2M Innovation World Congress has indeed kept its promise to deliver inspirations to innovate for all the M2M/IoT value chain stakeholders.
Thanks to an extended line-up of 80 speakers, enriched contents along 2.5 days and a broader scope of Verticals addressed by the "Connected Life Day", the 2014 Congress has seen its overall attendance increased to 356, despite the impact of the flight disruptions caused by the Air France's strike.
Broadly decided to "IoTize" companies and M2M processes, the participants have exchanged on the most innovative M2M implementations in Industry, Utilities, Connected Cars, Retail, Smart Cities, Smart Homes, Healthcare...and on the disruptions happening in business models and technologies: M2M market, IoT approaches, Big Data, interoperability, connectivity, security... Among this year's highlights, the "industrial Internet" has been at the centre of the exchanges thanks to the introductory IIC workshop.

These fruitful exchanges have been extended to the exhibition held alongside the conference as well as to the participants of the three other co-located events, all part of the "World Smart Week" event, which has gathered a total of 1420 ICT professionals.

See you at the next edition on Sept. 15 to 17, 2015.
